We offer a great room to play music in.
The Pus Cavern was conceived and designed from the ground up by studio designer Wes Lachot and Joe Johnston to be a quality recording facility.
In Wes Lachot's words
We see our main design objective as one of balancing two equally important although sometimes competing goals. One is to create a musically accurate recording and monitoring environment, and the other is to provide a space for musicians that feels natural and enhances creativity. A successful project is one that balances these goals in an organic way, and integrates all of the important aspects of the design into one cohesive whole.
In short

It's comfortable and it sounds great!

We mix

Audio mixing is the process of combining multitrack recordings into a final stereo product. It involves balancing and adjusting the various tracks using EQ, compression, volume, reverbs, delays, choruses and other effects to create the vibe and experience of the song. We welcome and have mixed tracks from other artists, producers, studios and engineers. All mixes are recallable, saving time and money for everyone involved

We master

Mastering is, in simple terms, the last bit of EQ, compression, limiting, harmonic and spatial FX applied to the stereo file which ensures that the various songs are clearly polished and form a cohesive whole on an album

We bake tapes and transfer reels to Pro Tools
