
Joe Johnston is a Sacramento, California based recording engineer and producer and the founder of Pus Cavern Recording, a studio that has been a cornerstone of Northern California’s music scene since the early 1990s. Known for capturing powerful, guitar-driven recordings, Johnston began Pus Cavern after converting a rehearsal space into a professional studio.
Over the decades, he has engineered and hosted sessions for a wide range of artists, helping both local and nationally recognized bands shape their sound. Notable artists who have recorded with Johnston include Cake, Deftones, Destroy Boys, Dog Party, Will Haven and many more. His work has made Pus Cavern a longtime hub for rock, punk, and alternative music in the Sacramento region.

Cameron hails from the greater Sacramento area and has loved music and recording since first learning to play guitar at 10 and using a 4-track recorder. Besides playing guitar, he also sings and plays bass, drums, and piano. Cameron leads the pop-punk band Addalemon, for which he writes and records all the music. He graduated from CSU Monterey Bay with a degree in Audio Engineering and has worked with Joe Johnston at Pus Cavern since 2020.
